The Hotel is highly recommended . Excellent staff and services . Friendly and courteous. The housekeeping services were also excellent. I would like to revisit SL and will stay at Fairway again ! I was in the corner suite #717 with an amazing view of the area !

We always stay there, if we have a stopover in Colombo. It’s very well located close to the railway station and next to all the sightseeing places and the ocean. Breakfast is very good and you get a huge variety. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable! We really love it for having a stopover in Colombo! From Fairway Colombo we always get the very best start in this wonderful country. And the staff is also very friendly and helpful!

I was in Colombo to attend a function. A phone call requesting a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board was quickly responded to. The room had all that I required including tea and coffee facilities, TV and safe etc. The bistro provided a nice rice and curry for my late lunch and breakfast in the morning was more than adequate. Fully recommend this hotel.

We came back for a second stay on our way back through Colombo. Had a more basic room this time due to availability, but just as pleased. Great location, close to history and culture, train station, restaurants.
PROS: Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, well-maintained, nice modern but charming decor. Comfortable beds, quiet air-con, strong, reliable Wi-Fi. Well-designed e.g., reading lights. Rooms have everything you need, eco-friendly soap and shampoo dispensers, safe, kettle with instant coffee and tea, mini-fridge, free bottled water. Smart TV with a good range of channels. Other items such as hair dryer, iron, shaving kit, slippers etc. are available on request. Hot shower with good water pressure. In a pedestrianized area – pleasant to walk around.
CONS: Popular area with music events can make it noisy some nights. Earplugs came in handy when we had a lower-floor suite. Upper floors away from Hospital St are quieter.

ZMAX Fairway is located at a very convenient place, just a few meters from Colombo Financial Centre. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants of many choices. The hotel and its amenities are new as the ZMAX Fairway went to operate as a 4-star just six months ago. Hotel rooms are small but very comfortable. I checked in to 2 different categories of rooms. The ZMAX King Family room is a perfect solution for a family of 4 or 5 to spend a budget holiday in Colombo. The Family room comes with 2 comfortable king beds and a huge sofa with a sink and a microwave oven. The reception and lobby areas for guests are small but there are 4 elevators for quick access to guest rooms. The hotel staff are kind and keen on their work. Absolutely “Value for money
