Fort Railway Station is the major railway station in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The railway station was constructed and completed in 1908. The station currently has ten platforms and other features such as waiting areas, changing rooms and cafeterias. Numerous intercity and commuter trains arrive each day at the Fort Station and serve as the terminus for most of the country's intercity trains.
