Fairway Colombo along with Fairway Leisure sector had the privilege of being a part of the sponsors behind the annual CASA (Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents) six-a-side Softball Cricket Tournament on the 11th & 12th of February 2023 at the NCC grounds.
This most anticipated event has become a major highlight in the year for all CASA members and the popularity of the event has increased over the years with many stakeholders due to the high standards maintained by organisers during the game.
Initiated in 1994, the tournament’s main goal was to build camaraderie amongst employees of different shipping agencies and has unquestionably contributed to strengthening working relationships amongst these agencies.
Going strong for over almost 3 decades now, the tournament has established itself as a major sporting event in the annual calendars of more than just members of CASA and never fails to attract many distinguished personalities who also graciously attend the event’s awards ceremony where the most outstanding players of the tournament were awarded complimentary stays at Fairway Colombo.
Fairway Colombo had the honour of being a part of the sponsor team for this prestigious annual event and attributing to its success along with the Sports Committee and the Membership Activities Committee of CASA.
